The purpose of creating Gallery 33 is to provide an outlet for artists to gain exposure when they might not otherwise.

Eliminating the monetary and bureaucratic hoops of the "fine art world" to make artists and their work accessible to the people.

To create a communal space in which artists can display, create, and collaborate in an unpretentious environment.

To band together and bring power back into the hands of artists from the curators.
